Alexander Usvitskiy presented at the Financial Congress Session by Invitation of the Bank of Russia
On July 2–4, St. Petersburg hosted the Financial Congress of the Bank of Russia, bringing together Central Bank executives, representatives of financial institutions, government agencies, and industry experts. As part of the program, Alexander Usvitskiy, Head of the Laboratory for Experimental Economics and Finance (LEEF) at HSE University, delivered a presentation at the panel discussion "Free Choice or Restrictions for the Sake of Security: What is Better for People and Markets?" He presented the findings of LEEF's study on the role of financial product labeling in consumer decision-making and participated in a panel discussion with other session speakers. During his talk, Alexander Usvitsky outlined the key effects that labeling can have on different consumer groups and shared analytical results showing how these effects vary depending on the type of labeling used.
