Hiding Behind Fig Leaves – The Economic Consequences of Moral Hypocrisy
Gari Walkowitz (Technical University of Munich, Ethics of Digitization, Munich, Germany, and International Laboratory for Experimental and Behavioural Economics, NRU HSE) gave a presentation at the joint seminar of Higher School of Economics on political economy, International Center for the Study of Institutions and Development (ICSID), International Laboratory for Experimental and Behavioural Economics and NES Center for the Study of Diversity and Social Interaction (NES CSDSI) was held on November 14.

Laboratory at the festival
The laboratory presented (and at the same time conducted) its research at the site of the first interdisciplinary science festival of Lunokhod-1 HSE. Participants of the festival are mostly young people (the average age of the participants of the experiment is 21), representatives of various professions (from physicists to lyricists), regions and countries (from Estonia to Uzbekistan), United by interest in science and knowledge about society.

The international one-day conference "From values to behaviour: interdisciplinary studies of interregional differences in Russia" was held on October 23, 2018. Eight reports were presented - from experimental studies to interregional growth models.

Belianin took part and contributed to the first PhD field course „Society and Advanced Technology in the Arctic“ held from September 24 to September 28, 2018, as part of a three-year project on international cooperation between NRU HSE and the Arctic University of Norway (UiT)
